Questa incredibile macchina è stata costruita grazie allo sforzo congiunto del Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory e della Sharon Wick School of Engineering della University of Iowa. Incredibilmente, il 97% delle componenti di questa macchina provengono dalle Industrie Agricole John Deere - Attrezzature per Irrigazione di Bancroft (Iowa), dunque tutte le componenti sono attrezzature agricole!
La messa ha punto della macchina ha richiesto ai tecnici 13.029 ore di lavoro per l’allineamento e la calibratura di tutti gli elementi, prima di filmare questo video. Ma come potete vedere, il risultato vale tutti gli sforzi fatti per raggiungerlo.
Oggi il video è in mostra persso la Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall della University of Iowa ed è già previsto che sia donato allo Smithsonian.
This incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between the Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of Engineering at the University of Iowa. Amazingly, 97% of the machines components came from John Deere Agricultural Industries and Irrigation Equipment of Bancroft Iowa, hence all components are farm equipment!
It took the team a combined 13,029 hours of set-up, alignment, calibration, and tuning before filming this video but as you can see it was WELL worth the effort.
It is now on display in the Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall at the University and is already slated to be donated to the Smithsonian.
